Four private ways to read Stockholm

Stockholm Private City Tour

One page, four three-hour Stockholm tours — pick by how you like to move. Two walks (one with an included City Hall visit), a guide-and-driver city tour, and a panoramic drive that finishes on foot in Gamla Stan. Same guide quality, same pace rule — yours — four different maps.

What you see and hear

Four ways to spend three hours in Stockholm

The walking routes keep Stockholm at street level: the Concert Hall where the Nobel Prizes are handed out, Kungstradgarden, Gustav Adolf Square and Riddarholmen, whose church holds four centuries of royal burials. The standard walk adds Sodermalm's heights, public transport ticket included.

The City Hall walk trades breadth for one great interior: the Blue Hall of Nobel-banquet fame and the Golden Hall's mosaics, approached along the Lake Malaren waterfront.

The vehicle versions widen the map — Royal Palace, Parliament, the Opera, Ostermalm — then hand the finale to Gamla Stan, where cars are useless and the lanes do the talking.

Why you'll like it

Which three-hour Stockholm tour should you choose?

Same three hours, four ways to spend them: the standard walk for orientation at street level, the City Hall walk for one grand interior, the private drive for reach, or the drive-and-walk for Gamla Stan plus the outer city. What changes is only how far you travel and which ticket rides along. When the Vasa is the interior you're really after, take Stockholm City and Vasa Museum; for the royal rooms, Royal Palace and Old Town; for a five-hour, two-museum day, Skansen and Vasa.
