ABOUT FJORD & BALTIC

Private tours, planned by the people who run them

Fjord & Baltic runs private, guide-led travel across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Private is not an upgrade we sell on top of a group tour — it is the only way we work: your party alone, one price for the group, and a guide and driver whose day belongs to you rather than to a timetable.

We have been planning and running private tours for years, and every route on this site is built the way we have always built them: around the hours you actually have, the way your group actually moves, and what the season genuinely allows. When a day does not fit, we say so before you book it, not after.

HOW WE PLAN

We check the frame before choosing the tour

CHECK TIMING

Date, arrival, pickup window and the latest realistic return.

CHECK THE START

Hotel, cruise terminal, airport, station, ferry or an agreed meeting point.

CHOOSE THE ROUTE TYPE

City day, shore excursion, fjord route or multi-day journey.

MAP THE MOVES

Walking, vehicle, boat, rail and ferry only where they improve the route.

MATCH THE PACE

Group size, children, access and how much walking feels right.

STATE THE SCOPE

Guide, transport, tickets and boats listed as included or separate.

THEN WE BUILD

A route that can run in the real day

A cruise call needs a return margin. A fjord day may depend on road, ferry, train or boat times.

A city route is narrowed around the hotel, port or arrival point instead of copied from a standard itinerary.

For several cities or countries, arrival and departure points become the structure of the itinerary.

START WITH THE FACTS

Send the essentials

Date, start point, group size and one or two priorities are enough for a realistic first route.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Sending a request does not confirm a booking or take payment. We check availability first and send the full route, price and booking terms before you decide.

What we check first

  • Date and arrival: hotel, port, airport, station, ferry or a general area if it is not booked yet.

What the group needs

  • Adults, children, mobility notes and the walking pace that feels right.

BEFORE WE PROPOSE

The route type comes first

  • A shore excursion has a ship return time; a fjord day can depend on road, boat, ferry or rail.
  • A city day, shore route, fjord route or multi-day itinerary is chosen before the detail list grows.

IN THE REPLY

A proposal you can use

  • Starting point, sequence, duration and the practical next decision.
  • Guide, vehicle, tickets, rail, ferry, boat or hotel items listed before booking.

BARCELONA

Planning Barcelona as well?

Ideal Barcelona is our separate site for private tours in the city and beyond: the Old Town, Gaudí, Montserrat and shore-day routes. Walking and private-car options are shown separately, with tickets and transport stated before confirmation.
